The instructional design of most Integrated Instructional Systems (IIS), including MTSsoftware®, is based on individual student need. Each lesson is tailored for the specific learning level of the student and builds in a sequential manner. MTSsoftware® lessons are designed to address reinforcement of core content, as well as promote critical thinking skills.
MTSsoftware® is designed and developed to support curriculum teaching where instruction is targeted at test-represented content. The software is aligned to national test objectives including Stanford Achievement Test, Iowa Test of Basic Skills, Metropolitan Achievement Test and the Terra Nova and is correlated to LEAP 21, FCAT, MAP and other State Tests. Its curriculum components are consistent with the National Council of Teachers of English/International Reading Association and the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics.
MTSsoftware® lessons are consistent with current national curriculum standards including the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM), the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) and the International Reading Association (IRA). Additionally, MTSsoftware® lessons are directly correlated to individual state standards and benchmark frameworks.
